Leona Lewis Recruits Hurts And Jessie J To Write New Album

Leona Lewis is pretty criticism-proof but if we had to level one minor issue at her it could be that she’s well, a little dull. That might all be about to change however with the news that the X Factor winner has recruited two of our very favourite popstars to help write her new album, due next year.Manchester’s sharpest two piece Hurts have reportedly been asked to submit tracks for the project with their lead singer Theo Hutchcraft telling The Sun, “Leona wants us to write for her. She has an incredible voice and is not bad looking either – so I’d definitely be up for it.”Leona has also reportedly asked newcomer Jessie J to get involved. Jessie is currently riding a wave of success with her new single ‘Do It Like A Dude’ having previously written for others including Miley Cyrus’ ‘Party In The USA’.

X Factor: Is Rebecca Ferguson the new Leona Lewis?

X Factor sources have been comparing Rebecca Ferguson to former show winner Leona Lewis, saying that the mum of two has a real ‘star quality.’

Tonight Rebecca wowed the judges with Bob Dylan’s ‘Make You Feel My Love’. Dannii Minogue loved her subtlety and said:

An amazing performance, you sang it with such soul. I love listening to you and I also love watching you perform. It’s very subtle, very understated but very passionate and you feel something when you watch you perform.

On her sudden emergence as a front runner, an inside source told The News Of The World: “Like Leona Lewis, Rebecca has come up on the quiet to surprise people. “She is also similar in that she is so warm and unassuming and perhaps doesn’t believe quite how good she is. “But behind the shyness lies real star quality and a voice you just can’t ignore. “And if she can overcome her nerves and self-confidence issues I think she can become world famous. “Last night she turned this into a real competition. It couldn’t happen to a nicer person.”

Leona Lewis On Hurts Hitlist

After hearing that Leona Lewis is “totally in love” with them, Hurts wants to team up with the ‘Bleeding Love’ singer for a duet.

Theo Hutchcraft from the duo act told Xmagazine: “Wow! I only heard about this today. It’s amazing. We always talked about it actually.”

He also went on to add that he was flattered that Lewis thought so highly of them and that he considers her song to be one of the best from at least the last decade.

The ‘Happiness’ singer said: “She’s amazing. ‘Bleeding Love’  is one of the best pop songs of the last ten – no 15 years. It’s such a compliment.

“One thing that’s powerful in her voice is sadness and what we do well is sad pop music. When we first started making music, we’d dream of writing songs and giving them to somebody to work their magic with them. She seems like the perfect person for that.”

Leona Lewis is so close to new man on romantic break

Gazing up adoringly at her new man as he cuddles her in the street – these are the pictures that prove Leona Lewis has found love again.

The X Factor winner beamed as German dancer Dennis Jauch held her close outside his Hamburg flat during a romantic four-day break together.

Leona’s people have insisted the couple are just good mates, but friends say she is hopelessly in love. “They are crazy about each other,” a pal of the German dancer said. “Leona is so happy when she is with Dennis. He makes her laugh and feel good. And Dennis thinks the world of her. Things have become serious between them very quickly.”

The pair got together two months ago when Bleeding Love star Leona, 25, had just split from childhood sweetheart Lou Al-Chamaa.

Dennis, 22, caught her eye while performing as a backing dancer on her recent UK tour and she sent him a text asking him out. He had just left Dutch singer Germaine Ching Yong, 25, a Leona lookalike, heartbroken by dumping her.

Leona Lewis Takes A Trip To Paris With Dennis Jauch

LEONA LEWIS was spotted enjoying the company of German dancer DENNIS JAUCH again at the weekend – this time on a trip to Paris.

The happy looking singer, who split from her childhood sweetheart LOU AL-CHAMAA in June, has been seen a lot with Den in the past few weeks.

Now that they’ve taken a trip to the romantic capital of the world there’s surely something going on.

But the singer’s spokesman insisted last night that the couple are just good friends.

That Leona is pretty quiet and mysterious.

I’ll keep you updated – this one could Run and Run.

Newly-single Leona Lewis unveils her sexy new rockabilly look as she steps out in fishnets and cropped top

Formal: Lewis's sexy ensemble was a far cry from her usual full-length nightwear

We’re used to seeing Leona Lewis in full-length gowns and formal nightwear.

But since breaking up from long-term love Lou Al-Chamaa, it looks like the singer has ditched her conservative clothes for a more racy image.

The X Factor winner was uncharacteristically flashing a lot of flesh as she went clubbing last night in a polka-dot cropped top, tight black mini skirt and fishnets.

Her unusually risque ensemble appeared to be a rockabilly theme night, as her friends were also wearing the same style.

Embracing the Fifties-style of the night, the 25-year-old completed her look with a quiff, false eyelashes and lashings of red lipstick.

Perhaps feeling a bit insecure with her racy outfit, Ms Lewis attempted to enter the private members’ club from its back door, but found it locked so had to walk through the front door like everyone else.

Lewis headed to the club after attending designer William Tempest’s dinner.

Writing on her  Twitter page, she said: ‘Had a lovely vegetarian dinner hosted by William Tempest last night. Got to wear one of his beautiful creations too.’

Noticeably absent was the pop star’s new male acquaintance, German dancer Dennis Jauch.

The model, who got her blingin’ swimsuit out this week for the release of her new novel, Paradise, said: ‘I always used to do pictures for fans in front of the signing table but I don’t do that anymore.

‘I feel safer sitting behind the table.’

The 32-year-old went on: ‘It means you can’t do pictures with the fans.

‘But you never know if they’ve got a knife or something.

‘I’ve got the best security, I just have to be more careful these days.’
